Geoff has directed extensively for Mill Productions and has written the Christmas Shows for young audiences presented by the company.
He has directed plays in all genres for Mill Productions, from comedy to tragedy, classical to contemporary.
Shows directed for the company range from Shakespeare to Roald Dahl, to his own writing. Plays include The Twits, Fantastic Mr Fox, and James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. He has directed our productions of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, King Lear, Othello and Macbeth. In addition, plays he has directed for the company have included Yasmina Reza’s God Of Carnage, Tennessee William’s Talk To Me Like The Rain And Let Me Listen, Sharon’s Grave by JB Keane, Frank Pig Says Hello by Pat McCabe and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
Other work as a director includes Cock for Blue Heart Theatre Company (The New Theatre), The Astonished Heart for Behind The Moon Productions (Players Theatre), At The Black Pig’s Dyke for Cavan Culture Theatre Project and Lost Weekend for Gillian Grattan | Evil Little Genius Productions (Axis Theatre).
Geoff was awarded a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Studies from DCU. He is a member of the Association of Drama Adjudicators and regularly facilitates workshops for drama groups throughout the country.
